Why I built this
My health declined after I started working in finance, and I watched the same thing happen to my most ambitious friends in finance and tech. It goes further than that. I know coworkers who were hospitalized from overwork, and the stories of bankers dying on the job from stress and too little sleep aren't just headlines to me.
Most of us already wear something that measures all of this. But our wearables only grade us. Score low on sleep, exercise and stress week after week and it starts to feel like a verdict you can't do anything about, at least not with a demanding career. So people stop looking. Some stop wearing them at all. But you shouldn't ignore your health.
How we act on our wearable data is still underexplored. Winnable turns it into actions: accountability built for people who are ambitious about everything, planned around the work they love instead of against it. Your calendar already knows how your day is shaping up. This makes it work for your health too.
I think of wearables the way we once thought of the iPhone: a platform. The sensors are already on millions of wrists and fingers. Winnable is one of the things that should be built on top.
